Trumpeting Ecstasy
Profound Lore

TLDR: Noise, grind, death metal and other various elements.

Review: Noise, doom metal, grindcore, death metal, experimental, black metal. These are just some of the elements that can be heard on this album. Full of Hell is about nothing and everything with their latest release, Trumpeting Ecstasy.

If you feel like you’ve heard it all, think again. Or at least that’s how I feel when I listen to this. And yet at the same time I feel like this album offers nothing new. Extreme metal? Sure. Something new and exciting? No, not really. It’s all just a mess of the ideas presented before.

It’s not like Trumpeting Ecstasy doesn’t have its moments. It surely does, but they are not that many. And the rest is just basic shits without anything really cool stuff. For me this feels like a bone that’s already emptied of its marrow. Not bad, not good – just a bit too empty inside. Kinda boring, if you ask me.
